Some stories make you smile.
Others stay with you long after they end. This one… completely stole my heart.

I know I’m a little late to the game on this one… but if you haven’t read or listened to it yet – do it.
I listened to the audiobook for this one, and it was SO endearing. Like the kind of story that sneaks up on you emotionally and then suddenly you’re fully invested.
I laughed. I cried. And at multiple points, I felt completely justified in all the voiceovers I give my dogs on a daily basis 😂
Also… I truly never want to leave them again after this.
A Dog’s Way Home follows Bella, a fiercely loyal dog who embarks on an incredible journey across hundreds of miles to reunite with her human.
Told from Bella’s perspective, the story brings you into the mind and heart of a dog in a way that feels both simple and profound. Along her journey, she faces danger, finds unexpected friendships, and continues forward with one unwavering goal: get home.
The audiobook experience made this one extra special. Hearing Bella’s thoughts brought so much personality and emotion to the story.
It made me look at my own dogs differently. Like wow, this is how deeply they feel things!
This isn’t just a story about a dog finding her way home.
It’s about:
And it reminds us of something we often take for granted – the unconditional love our pets give us every single day.
“I am a good dog. I am a good dog because I love my boy.”
“Home is not a place… it’s a person.”
“I was meant to be with him.”
5 out of 5 stars
An easy five stars. Emotional, heartwarming, and unforgettable.
Absolutely. YES!

If you haven’t read or listened to this one yet… this is your sign.
