Braiding Sweet Grass By Robin Wall Kimmerer Book Review
Genre: Nonfiction / Nature Writing / Indigenous Wisdom
✍️ **Synopsis of Braiding Sweetgrass:**
A poetic blend of science, storytelling, and Indigenous wisdom, this book invites us to reconsider our relationship with the earth—and teaches that gratitude might be the most powerful form of resistance.
👍🏻 **What I Liked:**
Every chapter felt like a return to something I didn’t realize I’d lost. It called to mind memories of running free in Jamestown and growing up in Boulder Heights—barefoot, wild, and surrounded by trees. Her words feel like a quiet prayer, both grounding and expansive.
👎🏻 **What I Didn’t Like:**
Honestly? Nothing. This one just spoke to me.
🤔 **Meaningful Quote:**
“All flourishing is mutual.”

⚡️ Would I Recommend It?
Without hesitation. If you’ve ever felt a pull toward the natural world—or away from the noise—this book is a gentle, necessary reminder of where we come from.
