I almost skipped Zero Stars, Do Not Recommend because it sounded way too silly for me. Instead, I found one of the funniest and most unexpectedly entertaining books I’ve read. Five stars and a huge recommendation for the audiobook.

I went into The Calamity Club knowing almost nothing about it, other than it was long and had a pretty cover. I came away loving almost every character and appreciating the difficult history Kathryn Stockett brought to light.
